Dingle Fingle

Dingle Fingle started his career at the famous Blackpool Tower Circus in 1985 where he worked with OBE Norman Barrett and Tommy Fossett aka Grimble the Clown from both he took great instruction… and so his career became a vocation.

He was then commissioned by Phillip Gandey to work with Gandey’s Circus where he cut his teeth as a biller, stable boy, tent hand, electrician, drummer and ‘Joey’.
Within a short while he became the principle clown (Joey) before moving on to the European Circus Monte Carlo in Oman. This was after a brief stint in Covent Garden and Chessington World of Adventures.
Next in his circus career came Gerry Cottles Circus working with some other great clowns as well as Jeremy Beadle, RIP.

After 25 years when he first stepped into the ring he wanted to get back to his roots again and work the circus ring. Out of the blue came the call from Martin Lacey, could I help out at The Great British Circus – Yes!

Bitten by the circus bug again Dingle Fingle then offered his services to Martin Burton, an old aquaintence and propitotor of the biggest touring circus shows in the UK today. His offer to teach, the students of the Academy of Circus Arts, clowning riot!
Offer accepted, Great fun had by all!
